Sometimes it’s tough to get traction with your birddogs.
One of the most common reasons is they just don’t take action because they feel like it might be a scam. Remember, you probably “found them” on Craigslist.
Here’s something you can do to motivate them to get going:
- Tell them you want to prove to them that you’re real…so, if they’ll go get your 10 to 25 vacant house leads by 5 pm today, you’ll Paypal them the money the same day. Let them know they could earn $30 to $75 for just a couple hours of work. Once they see it’s real, they’ll be more consistent and work hard to really build your list.
- OFFER A BONUS: If you get stalled or your birddog leads die down at all, call your most active birddogs and offer then a little “spiff” (i.e. a BONUS). Tell them that if they get out there and get you 50 qualified leads by “Friday” that you’ll pay a $25 bonus. This get’s people motivated. You can make the bonus anything you want, i.e. get me 15 leads and I’ll pay an extra $1 per lead or anything creative. The point is money motivates so use it.
